Alty B cuts hard with Babashop

Gaga Productions, a new label out of Toronto, Canada, is looking to get off the mark in a big way with its debut compilation album, the Babashop Riddim.

The beat has songs by established and up-and-coming artistes including 2015 Magnum Kings and Queens of Dancehall winner, Devin Di Dakta, who does She Tell Me.

Teenaged deejay Wayne J contributes Superstar, while Razor B’s song is Gal A Bawl Out.

Gaga Productions was launched last year by Waterhouse-reared deejay Alty B, who is also on Babashop with Gal Clown.

A veteran of Toronto’s dancehall scene, his previous songs include I sland Girl with Richie Loop.

Alty B (given name Altiman Grason) says he started Gaga Productions to help break emerging acts out of Jamaica and Canada.

Dudsymil and Fancy Lady with Bubble, as well as Popsy Badda with Dutty Friends, are some of the other Toronto artistes on Babashop.
